Internet access in the Library

The University Library offers access to the academic eduroam Wi‑Fi network. Configuration instructions can be found on the eduroam installation guide webpage.
Internet access is also available at computer workstations throughout the Library.

Purchase request

If a book you are looking for is not available in the Library’s resources, you can suggest it for purchase. Simply fill out the online form and the Library will consider acquiring the item. The form is available directly through the NCU Library Catalogue.

Scanning services

The Library provides several options for digitising materials.Self‑service scanner located near the Main Reading Room allows you to scan materials that cannot be borrowed outside the Library, such as journal articles or chapters from books available for on‑site use only. Scanned files can be saved to a USB flash drive, an external disc or directly to your laptop. A USB flash drive can be borrowed from a subject librarian.

The Library can also provide paid digital copies of its own materials or those submitted by users. Orders for digital copies can be placed online via the online form on the website of the Digitization Office.
