Sciences Advances Open Publishing Program 2026

The program will continue in 2026 with a new pool of 10 articles.

The program may be interrupted if in the first quarter of 2026 the Ministry of Science and Higher Education does not grant funding for the Sciance Advances license for 2026 (in 2025, the program was launched on April 28, 2025 with a pool of 10 articles).

The program is an addition to the national license for access to the Science journal.

The Science journal is available exclusively in a subscription model, and a separate open-access journal Science Advances is intended for open publishing.

The publisher's system automatically recognizes articles that qualify for the program based on the affiliation provided by the corresponding author; detailed information related to publishing is provided in the instructions for authors. The program allows corresponding authors affiliated with UMK, who have indicated this affiliation on the title page of the article, to publish.
