IOP Open Publishing Program 2026

The program will be resumed in 2026. ICM UW, the consortium coordinator, is in the process of agreeing with the publisher the rules regarding publishing in 2026 before and after signing the new contract.

The program is intended for corresponding authors affiliated with institutions participating in the IOP consortium.

In 2025, the program covered all hybrid and fully open IOP journals and all types of publications. The program allowed an unlimited number of articles accepted for publication in the current year to be published under the CC-BY license free of charge.
