Cambridge University Press Open Publishing Program 2026

 

From February 2026, the CUP open publishing program is available to corresponding authors affiliated with UMK. 

The program will cover articles accepted for publication in 2026; the number of articles that can be published under the program is unlimited.

Publishing under the program means that the APC fee is covered by the licence fee.

Corresponding authors submitting their articles for review should demonstrate their institutional affiliation, for example, by providing their Orcid ID. Using their institutional email address is also recommended, as it facilitates author identification. After the review process and acceptance of the article by the journal's editorial team, the author will receive an email with a link to the journal's website, which contains the forms necessary to prepare the license agreement. Authors wishing to publish an open access article should select one of the two forms in the "Open Access Articles" section and choose the Creative Commons license version. After the author completes and submits the form, the article is submitted for publication approval under the open access publishing program (without APC), and once the process is complete, the author will receive an email confirming that the article will be published open access.
