What is KROKUS?

KROKUS is a Polish acronym designed to help you create clear and effective prompts for AI tools. It consists of six key elements:

• K – Kontekst (Context)
  Define the context of your task.
  Example prompt: "I’m preparing a presentation for a scientific conference..." 
• R – Rola (Role)
  Specify the perspective or role the AI should take on (e.g., expert, teacher).
  Example prompt: "As an education expert..."
• O – Odbiorca (Audience) 
  Identify who the response is intended for (e.g., students, management, children).
  Example prompt: "Explain this to first‑year students..." 
• K – Kryteria (Guidelines)
  List the key requirements for the response (e.g., length, format, bullet points, table).
  Example prompt: "List the main points, up to 200 words, use a table." 
• U – Uściślenie celu (Goal Clarification)
  Clearly state the desired outcome and your expectations for the response.
  Example prompt: "I want the presentation to be easy to understand for non‑specialists." 
• S – Sprawdzenie i poprawki (Review & Improvement)
  Encourage iterative improvement of the prompt and feedback (e.g., "Provide more examples", "Make it shorter").
  Example prompt: "Add three more examples", "Optimize for SEO".
