The Library at the 3rd Toruń Archival Picnic

On June 9th, we invite you to participate in the 3rd Toruń Archival Picnic. The program will include the following events prepared by our Library:

What remains of us? Tracing everyday life – from a page to a click

A lecture and demonstration that engages and provokes conversation about how the ways of preserving traces of our everyday lives have evolved. Participants will see examples from the collections of the Social Life Documents Room at the University Library in Toruń: 19th-century leaflets, interwar film posters, invitations from the Polish People's Republic era, and contemporary social media posts. We will examine the "slices of life" that create memories of our experiences.

Led by: Anna Klugowska

June 9th, 11.00 - 12.00, Main Library, room 300
