Repository in a new version
On July 4, 2025 the Nicolaus Copernicus University institutional full-text repository, already in operation since 2012, was updated to the latest software version with the addition of login via a Central Authentication Service, while maintaining the previous address repozytorium.umk.pl
The task of the repository is to collect, store and disseminate full texts of publications created during scientific work and research projects carried out by employees and PhD students of NCU.
In the full text repository, it is possible to deposit preprints (author's versions) and, in the case of the publisher's consent, also published versions of articles, chapters or monographs, as well as presentations, lectures, and other teaching materials. Each publication deposited in the repository receives a permanent URI identifier (handle), which is the equivalent of DOI. The author (depositor) has the option of selecting an open license (Creative Commons), appropriate to the needs.
Depositing full texts in repositories is still the National Centre of Science's recommended path for sharing scientific publications.
