More open publishing programmes

Dear Readers,
We are pleased to announce the launch of new open publishing programmes for Elsevier, Science Advances and Taylor&Francis.

Elsevier - open publishing program under the national license will open on May 6. The draft of the new agreement provides that articles accepted for publication in the current year after the signing of the agreement will be eligible for the program.

Science Advances - on May 5, the Science Advances open publishing program was opened under the national license, with a pool of 10 articles for 2025. The program is an addition to the national license for access to the Science journal. The Science journal is exclusively in the subscription model, and a separate open-access journal Science Advances is intended for open publishing. The Science national license fee financed by the Ministry of Education and Science covers the cost of publishing up to 10 articles from Poland per year in the Science Advances journal.

Taylor&Francis - on May 5, the Taylor&Francis open publishing program was launched under the consortium license with a pool of 137 articles per year for all institutions participating in the consortium. The program is intended for corresponding authors affiliated with UMK. The program includes all hybrid "Open Select" journals, in which the program includes specific types of articles.
