"Raphael's Guardian" – PRE-PREMIERE author's meeting with Krzysztof P. Czyżewski
We invite you to a pre-premiere author meeting with Krzysztof P. Czyżewski – a NCU law graduate, author of thrillers and suspense novels. We hosted him in 2024 during the book launch of "Ostrakon. Da Vinci and Copernicus – a meeting the Vatican would rather forget."
This time, the meeting will be devoted to the latest novel, Raphael's Guardian. It's a story full of mysteries, historical clues, and a search for a legendary treasure, leading from a Toruń antique shop through European cities and the secrets of World War II. The main character, Łucja, trying to determine the origins of an antique pocket watch, stumbles upon the lost collection of Princess Czartoryska. A dangerous game begins for priceless works of art, the memory of history, and the discovery of a secret sought for nearly 80 years.
The meeting will be led by NCU Vice-Rector for Research, prof. Adam Kola.
June 10th, 2026, 4:00–5:30 p.m., Nicolaus Copernicus University Main Library, 2nd floor
