Introduction
The Toruń University Library provides the exchange publications service to institutions it exchanges publications with. The service facilitates electronic requests and presents all university publications issued after 2001 as well as duplicates. A selection of university publications printed prior to 2001 is also available.
The offer is composed of 5 categories:
1. The 2011-2013 offer
Includes all new NCU publications entered into the offer in 2011 in chronological order.
2. NCU Press publications
Includes NCU Press books, as well as departmental institutes' and academic clubs' publications.
The category is organized thematically. To view publications on a certain subtheme only, click on its link.
3. NCU periodicals
Periodicals published by the NCU Press.
4. Duplicates
The category is organized chronologically.
5. Serial publications
An additional category enables quick searches by NCU Press serial publications . The publications included in this category can also be found in other categories, i.e. NCU Press publications and NCU Periodicals.
How to place a request
There are three different ways to place a request:
1. Online requests (no need to register)
To order a book, click on “Go to cart”.
To complete your order, click “Next” and fill in the personal details form.
Click “Send” at the bottom of the page.
2. Online requests (using your account)
To order a book proceed as above except when completing your order (“Next”) type in the name and password chosen upon registering.
The benefits of having your own account:
i. It does not require you to fill in the personal details form every time you request a book.
ii. You can track your past orders (“Your orders”) and print your requests at any time.
3. Offline requests
You can request publications offline by listing your orders in an e-mail or a letter.
