The Nicolaus Copernicus University Library maintains several special collections, such as, old prints, manuscripts, social life documents, patents and standards, and collections on art, music, cartography and the Pomeranian region. The Library also houses Archives of Polish Emigration and the European Documentation Centre. These collections can only be used in reading rooms and in some cases, special rules apply.
